PAYMENTS & TERMS: Charges for all equipment and installation are payable all up front or 50% down before installation begins and the additional 50% after the installation has been completed. Leasing options are also available. Charges for monthly services are payable in monthly, quarterly, or annual payments. The initial term of this Contract is for three (3) years. S&L Services service contract will begin when all the equipment is installed and working properly. After the initial three year period has expired, this contract will automatically renew every thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated in writing by either the customer or S&L Services. If the account is canceled for any reason, by the customer or S&L Services, than this contract ends on the last day of the then-current term. Early termination fees apply if 3yr contract is canceled by customer or S&L Services within the 3yrs agreements.
You authorize us to obtain a non-investigative consumer report about you from a consumer reporting agency at any time during the term.
NO LIABILITY; LIMITED LIABILITY: It will be almost impossible to tell the actual damages that may result from our failure to perform our responsibilities under this specific contract. Therefore, you must agree that we and our agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates can not be held accountable for damages, loss of property, injury, or other responsibility that comes up directly or indirectly from the services we perform or the system we provide for you, your family, or your company. If it becomes obvious that we or any of our agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates are directly responsible for any damages, loss of property, or injury then you agree that the damages will be limited to the greater of $500 or 10% of the annual service charge that you pay us under this contract. The items agreed upon above are not meant as a penalty. They are your only fix no matter how the damage, loss, injury or other is caused, even if caused by our negligence, gross negligence, failure to perform duties under this contract, strict liability, failure to comply with the laws that apply, or other fault. If requested by the customer, we can add additional liability to this contract by adding an amendment to the contract stating that the extent of our additional liability and the additional cost to you.
Warranty Service Plan Includes

· 1 Annual inspection, cleaning, adjustments, lubrications, and testing of electronic and mechanical components.
· No charge during regular business hours for on-site technician response and no charge for normal repair or replacement parts as needed to maintain equipment in good operating condition
· 30% discount on parts and labor for components not included under normal wear and tear (Film, videotapes, supplies and other expendable consumables are not covered – contact an S&L Services consultant for details)
· Loaner equipment available for most systems
· Free replacement of system backup and wireless batteries.
With S&L Services Full Service Protection Plan, you never have to put off minor repairs or needed adjustments. One flat fee or small monthly payments pays for your coverage, no matter how often you call or how large or small the repair may be.

IMPORTANT:
1. Damage due to Acts of God, lightning, power surges, abuse, etc is excluded under both plans.
2. For new security system installations, service plan coverage commences upon expiration of initial 180 day warranty period and extends from that date
3. This warranty stays into effect for as long as you continue paying the monthly Maintenance fee from time of installation. (Monthly payments must be up to date for warranty to be valid for discounts)
